The FTC Mass Comm Department took a trip on Wednesday, April 18th to News 12 Long Island with Professor and News 12 Long Island Anchor, Danielle Campbell.
Students experienced what it's like to work at an actual news station, got an exclusive look behind the scenes and met News 12 Long Island personalities Antoinette Biordi, Eileen Lehpamer, Colleen McVey and Bill Korbel.
While watching the live broadcast from the studio, Professor Campbell took the students into the control room during commercial breaks to talk to the Director and Producer, who answered student questions.
Students also heard insightful career advice and learned about internships and job opportunities at News 12 Long Island.
